Suta Hanuman

This is not a tourist place, but a small modest temple in a city corner, which may have been visited only by those residing in the proximity If you are the one who visits a temple at least once in a few months, you might like to pay a visit to this temple. If you are religious buff or a Hanuman Bhakt,this place is a must visit.

Known as ‘Shree Bade Balaji Suta Hanumanji Mandir’ , the place is famous among locals as ‘Suta Hanuman’. The temple is definately different from other regular temples, we might have visited. The temple has a beautiful shrine of Hanumanji stretching 21 feets in length, which is sure to bring a sparkle in your eye, when you see it for the first time.

While ‘reclining buddha’ is an important sight-seeing destination in Bangkok tourist circuit, ‘Suta Hanuman’ though a smaller version, also provides a different visiting experience. Although there is no perfect history available for the temple, nearby old people have known this place as the one where Shri Hanumanji rested for a while when he passed-by from here during the times of Ramayana. That is why a temple was erected by people living around this region. The current temple was rebuilt in the year 1970 and has been standing there since the last 52 years.

It is a simple non-crowded place that has other shrines apart from the main shrine of ‘Suta Hanuman’.
